Bouquet is a luxury floral studio based in Omaha, Nebraska, specializing in custom wedding florals, large-scale installations, and elevated everyday arrangements. Known for our innovative designs and heartfelt service, we create floral experiences that wow, welcome and truly reflect the people we design for.

Our Story

Bouquet was founded in 2014 by Omaha interior designer Julie Hockney. What began as a way to provide elevated floral design for Julie’s interior design clients has grown into one of Omaha’s premier wedding and event floral studios.

Today, Bouquet is supported by a talented team and deep roots in the local event-planning community. We’re known for thoughtful, imaginative design and an exceptional client experience—from the first conversation to the final installation. The work and the reviews speak for themselves.

Our Philosophy

At the heart of Bouquet is a belief that florals should feel personal, intentional, and deeply connected to the people they’re created for. We approach every project with care and creativity, designing pieces that feel elevated yet welcoming, artful yet grounded.

Sourcing & Sustainability

We love sourcing local blooms whenever they’re available. While Nebraska’s growing season is limited, we thoughtfully supplement with flowers flown in from California and trusted local wholesalers to ensure the highest quality and most beautiful results for our clients.

Client Love

From start to finish, the Bouquet team was incredible to work with. The florals were beyond anything I imagined. They were thoughtfully designed, beautifully executed, and a perfect reflection of our vision. The care, creativity, and attention to detail truly made our day feel special, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

    SARAH

    MANAGER & LEAD WEDDING DESIGNER

As Bouquet’s leader and creative visionary, Sarah’s commitment to clients, and her team, runs deep. Building relationships is her true love language, whether that’s with wedding couples, fellow creatives or vendors around Omaha. With a career rooted entirely in the bridal world (from wedding gowns to bridal makeup), Sarah brings a well-rounded perspective to every celebration. Fun fact: she started at Bouquet as a delivery driver before learning floral design from the ground up. Known for her infectious enthusiasm and sharp eye for detail, Sarah leads with heart, energy and an unwavering dedication to exceptional experiences.

At home Sarah loves to garden and hang out outside with her best friend Luna, her cat. She trained Luna to take walks off-leash (again, she’s a cat!). Most recently Sarah has taken up jogging, and Luna is down for those too.

    JORDYN

    WEDDING DESIGNER

If Jordyn weren’t an accomplished floral designer, she’d likely be a structural engineer. Give her a bold vision for a large-scale installation and she’ll calmly figure out exactly how to make it work–zip ties, chicken wire and all. Equally comfortable in a hardware store or a design meeting, Jordyn blends technical problem-solving with thoughtful creativity. She values the relationships behind the designs just as much as the finished product, and her favorite moment is seeing a couple’s reaction when they first experience their flowers. Known for her business savvy and laid-back presence, Jordyn keeps the studio grounded when things get busy.

On a personal note, Jordyn loves both World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and thrifting. She can’t resist a brass animal and or a good body slam. What can we say? She’s a complex woman.

    ELLIE

    FLORAL DESIGNER

If you ever call Bouquet, there’s a good chance you’ll hear Ellie’s voice. She’s our go-to gal for daily arrangements, designing flowers for birthdays, anniversaries and all the everyday occasions worth celebrating. With a degree in horticulture, Ellie started her career as a floral clerk before moving into floral design. She met Bouquet manager Sarah at a floral workshop, began freelancing with the team and officially joined Bouquet full time in 2026.

Newly married, Ellie says her current goals include honing her personal style and figuring out the style of her own home. She’s also a youth leader through her church, meeting weekly with a group of eighth-grade girls who keep her current on important slang like huzz and chopped. Neither of which, she’d like to be clear, she’s using herself.

Ellie’s coffee order? Maple or Cinnamon Brown Sugar Latte

    Favorite Flower: Cosmos

  • Grace

    RENTAL COORDINATOR

Grace keeps the cogs turning behind the scenes of our busy floral studio. She manages our extensive rental inventory, handles the bulk of our deliveries, and makes sure the studio is stocked with everything our designers need to bring our clients’ visions to life. Grace came to Bouquet like a bit of a godsend, bringing two years of experience helping run a floral studio in Minneapolis.

With a degree in horticulture, Grace’s love of living things extends well beyond the studio. She has 60+ plants at home (and the plant-loving car stickers to prove it) and spends her free time gardening, tackling DIY projects and, presumably, tending to those 60+ plants. She’s also a music lover and former trumpet player in the University of Nebraska Marching Band.

Grace’s coffee order? Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

    Favorite Flower: Hellebore
